Richardson Morse on his original attraction to Scott Momaday's
novel, House Made of Dawn: "For me there was a very
strong universality to the story
It's a man who's trying
to figure out who he is and where he belongs, and that is certainly
applicable to any part of society and any human being. Plus, I
absolutely adored Scott's use of language."
- Quote from interview with Joanna Hearne, the University of Missouri-Columbia.
