Bebito Piãko

Bebito PiãkoBebito Piãko (Ashaninka), also known as Valdete Pinhanta, lives in a village on the Amônia river, a branch of the Juruá river in the municipality of Marechal Taumaturgo in the western state of Acre. He is a professor accredited by the indigenous commission of Acre. Piãko has participated in several Video nas Aldeias workshops. He is currently collaborating with his brother Isaac on a documentary about the Ashaninka community's handling of natural resources.
