This now-classic documentary draws from an earlier film on the
life of Pete Standing Alone as a young man-cowboy and roustabout-as
he leaves the reservation life. He could not have predicted his
return then but, as a middle-aged man, Standing Alone lives on
the Blood Reserve as a tribal leader and keeper of traditions.
