Living in contemporary, urban Southern California, three independent Native sisters decide to start their own business. The road to enterprise is rocky, and the sisters learn a lot about themselves and each other along the way. Naturally Native was funded entirely by the Mashantucket Pequot tribe of Connecticut and had its New York premiere at NMAI's Thursday Night at the Movies series in 1998.
