Living in contemporary, urban Southern California, three independent
Native sisters decide to start their own business. The road to
enterprise is rocky, and the sisters learn a lot about themselves
and each other along the way. Naturally Native was funded
entirely by the Mashantucket Pequot tribe of Connecticut and had
its New York premiere at NMAI's Thursday Night at the Movies
series in 1998.
