"My interest in video comes from the need to communicate, and share with other parts of society the vision of the indigenous communities, along with our problems, struggles, and what threatens and weakens us. I think that video should generate constructive and critical reflection. "Indigenous video" as it is known, should enable Native communities to look at themselves in their own mirror, their own reality, and choose the things that come from outside that can be useful for the strengthening of our cultures."
