Graham GreeneActor Graham Greene (Oneida) has won international recognition for his work, including the roles of Kicking Bird in Dances with Wolves, Walter Crow Horse in Thunderheart, Calvin in Transamerica, Arlen Bitterbuck in The Green Mile, and Joe Lambert in Die Hard with a Vengeance. His many honors include the Earle Grey Award for Lifetime Achievement at the 2004 Gemini Awards, the Best Actor Award at the 2002 Tokyo International Film Festival for his portrayal of Mogie Yellow Lodge in Skins, a 1994 Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Children's Series for his role as Mr. Crabby Tree in The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon, and a 1992 Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor for his performance in Dances with Wolves. Greene graduated from the Native Theatre School of the Centre for Indigenous Theatre in Toronto, Ontario. His best known theatrical turn was playing Pierre St. Pierre in Dry Lips Oughta Move to Kapuskasing, for which he won the 1989 Dora Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male in a Leading Role. Greene was born in Ohsweken on the Six Nations Reserve in Ontario and lives in Toronto.
