Mata'u Rapu (Rapa Nui) is a director of photography
and has directed short films, including Ka Haka Rongo/To Listen
and Retrospect. He received a BA in Television Production
from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California, where
he was a film production lab instructor. Rapu was born in Rapa
Nui and raised in Rapa Nui and Hawai'i.
"I hope these stories will educate and inspire people to
think beyond their front door and into the hearts of others."
