Audience at "Club Red Radio"

The Taraspanglish Migrants Video Project has trained migrant workers from P'urhepecha communities both in Madera, California, and Michoacán, Mexico, in video production. The videomakers work has resulted in Taraspanglish, a series of video letters, music clips, documentary and fiction capsules. These lively short works include portraits of Purhepecha communities on both sides of the border, and offer a wide range of reflections on the immigrant experience. Funding for the project has been provided by the US-Mexico Fund for Culture.
